I really don’t enjoy writing negative reviews. And I understand that there are probably some who like these K-Cups. This is just what my taste buds had to say.
Timothy’s Kahlúa: I brewed it at the 6oz setting since Timothy’s K-Cups tend to be mild (err, watery). I could taste the Kahlúa a lot at this setting, but the flavor was not very good. It had a slightly drying aftertaste (not as bad as some, mind you, but still a problem). It leaves an unpleasant taste in your mouth too. On top of that, it made my throat sore.
I’ve had real Kahlúa in my coffee and remember liking it. That is another downside to this K-Cup: it will never taste as good as the real thing.
Update: This reviewer from Coffee Qwowi says use cream and sugar.
Gloria Jean’s Cappuccino: You’re gonna need flavored creamer for this one. It doesn’t have much flavor at all. It was definitely a disappointment. I tried adding some cinnamon–didn’t help. Brewed at 8oz, so maybe 6oz would be better. I’m not interested in giving it a second chance though.
