Starbucks Breakfast Blend

The day I first tried the Breakfast Blend, I wanted a second cup around noon, to get a good taste of it again. I also needed an extra boost to get through all my Saturday chores and Christmas prep. My husband and I ended up plowing through our to-do list, and finished it all, including a task that wasn’t on the list!

Starbucks Breakfast Blend has a unique, rich flavor with a nice zing to it. This is not like the other Breakfast Blend K-Cups out there: there’s  much more flavor and fullness to it.

I love this description of Starbucks Breakfast Blend at the Keurig site:

Starbucks’ ode to sunrise. This lighter-bodied and milder coffee features bright citrus notes that dance across your tongue, awaken your taste buds and then wash away clean. A wonderful first cup of the day.

Pure poetry! But I have to say that the flavor doesn’t “wash away clean.” It lingers. In this case, that is a good thing. I wanted those lovely flavors to linger a while. I highly recommend the 8oz brew setting for this one. It was just right!

Stay tuned for a Starbucks Verona review…

It seems darker to me than other Breakfast Blends, but it’s definitely a nice brew.
