I’ve been very happy with this K-Cup purchase. For some reason, I’m much more inclined to drink flavored coffee in the evening. In the morning, I usually can’t bring myself to brew any flavored K-Cups, no matter how much I like them. I usually just want/need the real stuff. The hard stuff, if you will.
The Hazelnut Decaf doesn’t taste like a typical decaf, and I actually prefer it to many other flavored K-Cups I’ve tried such as Gloria Jean’s Hazelnut.
It’s smooth, has a nice hazelnut aroma, good flavor at the 8oz setting, and no unpleasant aftertaste. I’ve been able to share this with many a friend in the evening, and no one’s made a face yet.
I wish there were more decaf flavored K-Cups for the quirky folks like me. I can’t drink caffeinated coffee after 4 o’clock without it keeping me up. Pumpkin Spice would be a nice one to have in decaf form, don’t you think?
I’m looking forward to sharing the Hazelnut Decaf (and others) with my relatives this Thanksgiving. My aunt, at whose house we’ll be feasting in a few days, was the first one to serve me a Keurig coffee. I will never forget that wonderful kindness she bestowed. I’ve got a fun little K-Cup assortment prepared. Something for everyone I hope–Apple Cider, Starbucks, Cinnamon Pastry, Hot Cocoa…
Happy Thanksgiving to you all!
