It seems I jumped the gun just a bit on my Wolfgang Puck reviews. Less than a week after I posted about them, I received this wonderful K-Cup as a gift from one of my favorite traders at kcuptrade.com.
I have no shortage of adjectives for this fantastic K-Cup. It has a pleasant, spicy, sweet aroma that’s hard to completely describe. But the goodness only starts there.
At first, Sorrento sparkles in your mouth, and this continues through the first few sips. Very tasty! It has variations of flavor (mainly sweet) and lots of body when brewed at 10oz.
The aftertaste is as good or better than the main flavors. I also detected some fruity notes at the end, or maybe that was just my waffle.
This K-Cup is an all-around good brew; I’m thinking I need a box in my pantry. I should probably work on my collection of Dark Magic, Barista Prima Columbia, and Tully’s Kona first though.
I can’t put my finger on which K-Cup the Sorrento reminds me of the most. Dark Magic? Tully’s House Blend? It has qualities of a few K-Cups I’ve tasted.
In short, this is an interesting and yummy K-Cup that’s well-worth your time to try.
