Here’s an idea for you plant lovers: add your K-Cup coffee grounds to your plant soil when watering. I have been trying it on my potted plants (indoor and outdoor) for a few months now with good success. I started saving K-Cups in this pot to reuse on any depressed plants in my life.
If you’re into getting extra use out of things, this might be up your alley. While I don’t have any uses yet for the actual plastic cup (I’m working on that one), the grounds are great as a fertilizer. Of course, you could do this with any coffee grounds. I’ve found that the amount from one K-Cup is good for one plant.
How to Reuse Your Grounds:
Just grab some scissors to open the top of the K-Cup. Dump or scoop out some grounds, mix them into the soil a bit, water as usual, and Voila! That’s all it takes to liven up your precious plants. K-Cups do have a way of perking things up, don’t they?
This is an awesome idea! I’m totally going to try this. Thanks!
You’re sure welcome. I hope your plants love it!
