Green Mountain Hot Apple Cider

Drinking hot cider at the end of May!? That’s right. It’s about 50 degrees, rainy, and downright chilly here in Idaho. The fam and I snuggled in this evening for a movie, popcorn, and Hot Apple Cider (freshly pressed in our Keurig).

My husband and I had heard good things about this particular K-Cup. It certainly lives up to them. This is not of your instant powdered cider variety with some natural, some not-so-natural flavors. It’s all-natural, baby.

This K-Cup has a nice, strong apple flavor with hints of cinnamon. It tastes like cider should taste, like fresh apples. How they do that in a sealed little cup is a mystery. My husband is ready to go stock up on some more and try it iced. He may be on to something there. He isn’t a coffee drinker, so it’s nice to see him enjoying a K-Cup every now and then. I think he prefers the cider over the hot cocoa too.

Confession: we didn’t share with the kiddos since we only had one K-Cup to split. They were enjoying their popcorn so much they didn’t notice.

I’m so excited now! I wanted to get some, but I thought it was going to be weak, like the cocoas.

I just finished a cup of this… to be honest the first time I tried it I thought it was a little plain. I have some mulling spice from Tastefully Simple that I added to it this time and it was AWESOME! Just a little tip 🙂

I think it is safe to say that I am absolutely OBSESSED with this stuff! I have always been one who really loves hot apple cider though but this stuff really is so good! I cannot find it anywhere anymore and have turned to ordering boxes and boxes online and keeping stock of it. If you haven’t tried it, you really are missing out!! You’ll love it I promise.
