Parenting is not for the faint of heart. Yesterday my son ran into our neighbor’s mailbox, and it punctured the top of his head. It was pretty gruesome. We took him to the emergency room where they put a staple in his head. Poor little guy. He’s doing fine now (thank God). I was a mess once we got home. Maybe they should drug moms at the emergency room too.
Sometimes you just need a hot cup of tea. I’d like to review Celestial Seasonings English Breakfast Black Tea K-Cups this week.
My mother-in-law got me hooked on British tea (Yorkshire Gold especially) but most days I wasn’t getting to it till later in the morning. It’s so nice to have a hot, caffeinated beverage first thing. I wasn’t making coffee much at the time because I just couldn’t get it to taste right, and I am the only one in the house who drinks it. I was thrilled to get a Keurig for Christmas and now I mostly drink coffee.
I finally started trying some tea K-Cups recently. I didn’t want to like them and get spoiled with instant tea too because I knew it would be hard to go back. So this tea was both a good and bad discovery. First of all, not having to wait for a tea bag to steep means I get to drink my tea at a hotter temperature–I love that!
This is a well-balanced black tea with a smooth taste and really good flavor. I’ve tried it black which is fine, but I like to use milk (or cream) and honey and that works great with this tea. I’m fairly picky about black tea, and I think this one is a winner; good for morning, afternoon, or evening.
Even if you’re not a tea drinker yourself, this would be a nice one to have on hand for guests.
The latest batch I’ve been drinking tastes very different. Really not very good. Has anyone else had this problem of consistency between K-Cups?
